SCULPTURE/PHOTOGRAPHY - TRAFFIC CONE PROJECT
This project was very crucial for my practice. It was the project that helped me discover my interests and experiment in depth with interesting and playful ideas, but also experiment with photography, objects and space. The main aspects and questions that I was focusing on through this project were: 1) What separates art objects from ordinary objects 2) The relationship between art, objects and space of exhibition. 3) The line between art and everyday life. 4) How an ordinary object can become an art object and how the environment that it is exhibited in, can change the way it is perceived by the viewer.
FUN WITH TRAFFIC CONES
A photo series exploring the idea of how found objects can be used as extensions of ordinary objects in order to create temporary sculptures.
DESTRUCTION IN AND OF ART
Destruction is a form of creation (Donnie Darko, 2001). The core of the this project was the destruction in and of art. I was exploring the idea of creating by destroying, often by using iconoclastic tactics approaches.
